Mudroom / Entry Built-In

Client Challenge:

Coats, shoes, and bags piled up at the back door. There was no true drop zone, no seating to lace boots, and nowhere to stash seasonal gear out of sight.

The Vision:

A compact, hard-working mudroom that keeps daily items visible and grab-and-go while tucking bulk storage behind doors. Clean lines, warm wood, and durable finishes.

Our Solution:

We created a locker-style wall with matte taupe slab cabinetry and brushed-brass pulls for enclosed storage. An open niche with a white-oak back panel and brass hooks handles coats and handbags. The bench includes shoe cubbies below and a narrow tower of adjustable shelves for gloves, hats, and pet items. Lighting and clearances are optimized for quick in/out traffic.

The Result:

Clutter is off the floor and the entry runs on autopilot. Everyday pieces have a defined home, and the warm oak accent keeps the utility zone feeling refined.
