Client Challenge:

The existing kitchen lacked smart storage and clear prep zones. Counter space disappeared fast, small appliances lived on the counters, and entertaining meant constant cleanup. The clients wanted a calm, clutter-free space that flowed into dining and the patio.

The Vision:

A warm-minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired kitchen: light, quiet surfaces; concealed storage; a hardworking island for everyday meals; display niches for a few favorite pieces; and better lighting without visual noise.

Our Solution:

Final Draft re-planned the storage and lighting, then layered in refined materials for a soft, modern look.

• Cabinetry & Hardware: Flat-panel, matte light-taupe cabinetry with slim brushed-brass pulls for a clean, tailored profile. Panel-ready refrigeration keeps the wall seamless.

• Island: Large, mitered waterfall island with a durable, stone-look surface; integrated power; and a wood-lined seating niche for four. A matte white faucet + sink keeps the palette quiet.

• Backsplash Window: A continuous ribbon window under the uppers brings daylight straight to the worktop while preserving privacy.

• Task Lighting: Full-length under-cab LEDs and lit wood display niches add depth and warm highlights without visible fixtures.

• Cooking & Organization: Flush induction cooktop, wall oven, and a coffee/steam column. Pull-out spice and utensil pantries flank the range for one-reach access.

• Entertaining Wall: Tall storage with open shelving and dual glass-door wine columns creates a dedicated bar and display zone.

• Flooring & Flow: Wide-plank oak floors, low-profile pendants over the dining table, and a large slider to the patio connect cooking, eating, and outdoor living.

The Result:

Bright, calm, and effortless. Counters stay clear, cooking is organized, and the island has become the daily gathering spot. The subtle palette, wood accents, and precise lighting deliver a modern space that still feels warm and livable—perfect for weeknights and entertaining.
